Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ASTRIQ Lab is a private content automation tool used by the owner of the ASTRIQ YouTube channel to create, organize, upload, and schedule educational videos.

2. Use of YouTube API Services

ASTRIQ Lab uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing the application, the account owner permits ASTRIQ Lab to access only the YouTube data and functions required for the workflow described on this site.

3. Google and YouTube data we access

Depending on the authorized scopes, ASTRIQ Lab may access information necessary to:

  • Identify and verify the authorized YouTube channel.
  • Upload videos to the authorized channel.
  • Set or update video metadata, including title, description, category, privacy status, synthetic-media disclosure, and scheduling information.
  • Read limited channel or video information required to verify successful API operations.

4. How data is used

Google and YouTube user data is used only to operate the ASTRIQ publishing workflow requested by the authorized account owner. It is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, sale, or unrelated purposes.

5. Storage and security

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager. Workflow data may be stored in Google Sheets and generated media may be stored in Google Cloud Storage. Access is restricted to the ASTRIQ operator and service accounts required to run the automation.

6. Sharing of data

ASTRIQ Lab does not sell Google user data. Data is not shared with third parties except infrastructure and API providers necessary to operate the workflow, such as Google Cloud and YouTube, and only as needed to provide the service.

7. Revoking access

The account owner can revoke ASTRIQ Lab's access to Google and YouTube data at any time from the Google Account permissions page:

8. Data retention and deletion

OAuth credentials are retained only while the automation remains authorized and in use. If authorization is revoked, associated authorized YouTube API data and credentials controlled by ASTRIQ Lab will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 7 calendar days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for security and abuse prevention.

9. Google Privacy Policy

Google's Privacy Policy applies to Google services used in connection with ASTRIQ Lab:

10. Limited Use

ASTRIQ Lab's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing or improving the user-facing functionality described above and is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
